Understanding COVID 19 Below is a link to an international survey on the impact of COVID 19 on individuals with intellectual and developmental disability and their caregivers. The survey is led by the UCD Centre for Disability Studies in Ireland and has a team of 26 researchers working in 19 countries. This survey has full ethical approval and is entirely anonymous. If you are 18 years or older and are either (1) a family member of a person of any age who has an intellectual and developmental disability, or (2) a paid staff member supporting a person or persons of any age who has intellectual and developmental disabilities, we invite you and members of your network to take part in the survey. Pride of Place Awards 2019
Pride of Place Awards 2019 The Trim Municipal District Awards Night took place on 26th September. Our community sensory garden won the Community Age Friendly Initiative award. We have been receiving lots of positive feedback from members of the public about the garden and we are delighted that the contribution this collaborative project is making in the community has been officially recognised. Thank you again to everyone in the Council, particularly our amazing Area Engineer Maura who made this possible from the start and to Tony and his team who continue to maintain the garden. Thank you also to our friends in Facebook who supported us in no small way to achieve such a high standard that can be enjoyed by all members of the community regardless of age or ability.
