Ashbourne Sports Partnership The 14th of March marked the beginning of a collaboration between Prosper Meath service users and TY students of Colaiste De Lacy Ashbourne. This initiative in collaboration with Meath Local Sports Partnership has been hugely successful in other Prosper Meath services and secondary schools in the county. This is the first time that this programme has been rolled out in the Ashbourne service. The transition year students will facilitate a number of sports based activities, over the next 6 weeks, for the Prosper Meath service users in Donaghmore Ashbourne GAA club.Gemma McMahon from Prosper Ashbourne met with the transition year group to give them a background on the services that Prosper Meath provides. Emma’s Radio Show Emma Brady co-hosted the Breakfast Show with Seamus Farrelly and Chris Murray on LMFM radio on Thursday, 21st March. Emma is the lead actor in the latest Prosper Meath video “If the shoe was on the other foot”. Emma chatted with her co-hosts and played songs from her chosen playlist. All in all, a great debut as a radio presenter to add to her successful acting role. Schoil Mhuire Trim – ‘Making a Difference’
Schoil Mhuire Trim – ‘Making a Difference’ Michelle Whelehan and Liam Hargadon recently visited Scoil Mhuire Secondary School in Trim where they introduced the Prosper Meath ‘Making A Difference Award’. The award will be presented in recognition of the student(s) who have made a significant impact on the life/lives of others through the promotion of social inclusion. Michelle delivered a speech which she had prepared for the Transition Year students, the focus of which was to create awareness of the importance of treating everyone equally. We look forward to presenting the ‘Making A Difference Award’ award to the worthy recipient(s) at the graduation ceremony in May....
