‘Making a Difference’ Eureka Kells
‘Making a Difference’ Award - Eureka Secondary School The Prosper Kells services were delighted to attend Eureka Secondary Schools awards night where they awarded the TY, Rang Fionn class, with this years ‘Making a Difference’ award. The students ran a programme called “Never Home Alone” which sought to combat social isolation for the older population. The programme received significant attention in terms of article publication in national newspapers, radio interviews with Ryan Tubridy but also a live on the set interview with Ireland AM. One of the students said that the programme shifted from viewing the older adults as their project to that of friends. Prosper Meath wish to pay particular compliments to teacher Mr Stephen McKee and principal Caroline O’Reilly on the success of this great...
