4 Provinces 365km Cycle – 15th and 16th September 2018

Cycling group ‘Dunboyne Pedal Pushers’ are organising a fundraising event ‘4 Provinces 365km Cycle’ on the 15th and 16th September.  This event which aims to raise funds for the new Emmet Street building in Trim will involve 30 cyclists navigating a route around the four provinces of Ireland, covering 365km in two days.  The group have set up a GoFundMe page: https://www.gofundme.com/4provinces  and are seeking donations and sponsors for the event.

The group will commence their cycle in Dunboyne and travel through Virginia, Edgesworthstown, Athlone and Ballinasloe before resting overnight in Birr.  Day two will consist of cycling on to Roscrea, Tullamore, Edenderry and finishing with a welcome home reception in Trim.  Adrian Tiernan, whose daughter attends the Trim service is spearheading the fundraising campaign and hopes that the cycle will raise much needed funds to build a fully accessible building in the heart of Trim town.

Fiona Monahan, Operations Manager of Prosper Meath and Adrian Tiernan recently spoke on LMFM radio regarding Prosper Meath services and the ‘4 Provinces 365km Cycle’.  Listen to the podcast below.
